HISTORY

 

CV Chile S.A. (Nurseries Consortium of Chile S.A.) was founded in 1996. It is comprised of three partner nurseries, who together share a vision of innovation in the production of quality fruit plants.

 

CV Chile S.A. is a leader within the industry, which since its inception has played an important role in the introduction of new plant varieties in the country, adding value to the production of nurseries and the domestic fruit industry.

 

 

 

 

THE COMPANY

 

Along with its member nurseries and strategic alliances, CV Chile S.A. provides importation services, evaluation, PBR filings, propagation and marketing of varieties acquired from prestigious genetic programs. We provide the fruit industry with highly productive selections which have strong commercial potential and comply with all existing laws in order to safeguard the rights of breeders.

    Color: Dark red

    Shape: Flat heart

    Flesh: Dark red, very firm and good taste

    Flesh: Bright watermelon red, crisp-juicy texture, neutral flavor, 16 to 18° Brix with medium to low acidity

    Postharvest: Firm with outstanding storage and shelf-life. No shrivel problem.

    Color: Smooth burgundy finish with small lines on shoulders

    Shape: Elongated, with heart-like shape. Shape can vary

    Flesh: Attractive, Bright white similar to apple. Crisp texture very juicy. Apple-like aroma and flavor with 19 a 20° Brix, low acidity.

    Postharvest: Very firm storage. Use shrivel sheet to reduce shrivel

    Flesh: Orange, juicy and fine texture. Fruit ripes from inside-out, so that eating quality is good on firm fruit. Outstanding sugar and aroma 14° to 16° Brix with juiciness and medium-high acidity

    Postharvest: Firm with good shipping qualities.
